Dashboard view is the mode of driving with a playable vehicle while inside the vehicle's cockpit. The player can tour the streets of Chicago while seeing all the action through the driver's seat.
Overview
Each playable vehicle in Midtown Madness has its own unqiue dashboard layout. The dashboard views all the typical instruments that is useful in the gameplay: the tachometer, the speedometer, the tramission position gauge, the damage meter, and the position of the steering wheel.
- Tachometer - Views engine RPM (Revelations per minute).
- Speedometer - Views MPH (Miles Per Hour}.
